Our AC Wire Warning Function operates consistently across all scan modes. Whenever live AC voltage is detected, the AC warning indicator will promptly display on the screen. Exercise utmost caution under such circumstances or whenever live AC wiring is present.

To begin, place the device on the wall surface. Press the Power Button to turn it on, then hold the Scan Button for 2-3 seconds to calibrate. The calibration is complete when the bars decrease, and a buzzer beeps once. Note that in Stud mode, keep the device flat against the wall during calibration, while in Metal/AC mode, hold it in the air.

Next, slowly move the device while ensuring it remains flat against the wall. Avoid shaking or lifting the device during operation. When the signal bar reaches its maximum and the beep alarm is loudest, you have located the center of an object. Mark this spot with a pencil, then select the Metal Scan function to determine if the object is metallic. If it is not metallic, you have successfully identified the center of a stud.

Along with the visual display, the stud finder also provides audio alerts and a beep sound to guide you to the exact location of the stud. This ensures ease of use, even in low-light conditions.

The auto-calibration feature guarantees maximum reliability and accuracy. Simply place the device flat against the wall, power it on, and hold the Scan button to start calibration. Calibration is complete when you hear a reassuring BEEP sound and the screen clears.
